Design as Marketing
Guerrilla marketing with sculpture.
Atlanta’s Alliance Theatre scored big with its recent promotion for a production of ‘Cuttin’ Up’ a play about the culture of African-American barber shops. They used a classic icon that figures prominently in the play-the afro pic and these artworks of 5-foot-tall picks were placed in bushes around the city. No topiary was damaged in the making of this campaign.
It goes to show, how designers play [pun intended] into marketing campaigns and in this case, extremely effective, fun, arty and low-budget ones at that.

I need to change small photos and make them a larger dpi (300). When I create a new photoshop document at 300 dpi and try to drag them from my desktop - they aren't highlighted. What am I doing wrong???
